Workshops | Living & Learning with Llamas | Just You & Me | Meet The Llama Lady
Check the event calendar on the home page for dates and times.
Agape Hill Farm conducts a variety of workshops throughout the year. Our after school llama club workshop is a favorite with local students and offers options that include both fiber art and farm work. Living & Learning with Llamas offers an animal-assisted therapy approach. Needlefelting workshops are held periodically for adults to learn this new and exciting art form. Summertime brings another collection of workshops for all ages. Please call for details and registration or check out what is happening now on our Facebook page.
After School & Summer Llama Club
Students ages 8 and up enjoy trail walking with their "own" llama, helping out with the farm chores and felting in the fiber shop. See the events section of the home page for the next scheduled Llama Club workshop. Email us for info and registration.
In many ways similar to our Llama Club program, these groups are offered in partnership with Talaia Thomas, LMHC, for students ages 8-12 and teen girls.
Using the farm experience and particularly the intuitive nature of the llamas, students build self-confidence, learn independence, and work on interpersonal skills. Living & Learning with Llamas workshops are covered by most insurance plans.
“It’s the llama lady!”
That’s a phrase you will hear often around the Hardwick area—from school children to nursing home residents and Nancy doesn’t mind one bit.
She loves her work at the farm and the opportunities she enjoys with the llamas.
With a degree in psychology and as a mom of four, Nancy has worked to make Agape Hill Farm a place where everyone can actively participate and grow emotionally and socially.
Give her a call to see what adventures are in store for you.
